Wall-Eyed Releases Album KENTUCKY GENTLEMAN

Wall-Eyed Releases New Album, Kentucky Gentleman

Flagstaff, Arizona (Belle Isle Asylum Records) (1/20/15)

The Americana indie bandWall-Eyedis out with a new album, Kentucky Gentleman, on the independent record label, Belle Isle Asylum. On Kentucky Gentleman, the Arizona-based Wall-Eyed showcases its unique sound and genre blending, weaving Beatlesque melodies with punk, rockabilly, country, and jazz.  Wall-Eyed's Kentucky Gentleman is already drawing the band comparisons to groups such as Modest Mouse, Deer Tick and Gogol Bordello.

The opening track, "Wise County" is a microcosm of the band's eclectic sound, weaving between galloping country punk and psychedelic desert music. It is followed up by "Cold Black Ink", which mixes Sinatra-esque lounge music with rock n' roll.  The album then explores pop-country-punk with "Exile" and piano pop with "Calmer Waters", before turning to the raw grunge-punk song, "Holy War".

Indie-Music.com writes that Wall-Eyed has a "large bag of tricks at their disposal, extensive knowledge and understanding of a number of genres and a facility for pulling those influences together."

Independent Clauses raves that "[i]f you’re into any sort of energetic music, it’s a fair bet that you’ll be attracted to Wall-Eyed."

The record is currently available for streaming and purchase on Bandcamp and will be digitally released worldwide on January 26th on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and the like.  Be sure to visit Wall-Eyed's website, www.wall-eyed.net, and the band's online press kit for more information, pictures, video, and more.  Thank you for your time and please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, comments, etc. at the contact information below.
